The plot window originally was PTPlot 5.2, written by Edward A. Lee and Christopher Hyland as part of the Ptolemy II project at http://ptolemy.eecs.berkeley.edu/java/ptplot/. It has since been replaced with an in house ploting package that is more extensible for future needs. The plot shows 2D data as defined in the Chart Options under the Chart Menu.
The basic GUI controls for the plot are simple. To zoom in or out, drag the mouse button to create a rectangle and select option from popup menu. To edit properties, double click or select options from the Chart Menu. Click on an object to move or resize it. Resize by dragging one of the 8 grow points. Move by clicking on the object or border. For the plot, you can only move it by dragging the border. Right-click to open a menu to move an object before or behind another object.
